The HYDROGEMS models are compatible with a modular TRaNsient SYStem simulation program (TRNSYS) and an Engineering Equation Solver (EES) — both well established and widely used RE- programs.
TRNSYS
HYDROGEMS is a result of more than 7 years of modeling and simulation work performed at Institute for Energy Technology (IFE), Norway.
The main sponsor of HYDROGEMS is the Research Council of Norway (NFR).
An EES demo program featuring the photovoltaic generator, PEM fuel cell, and electrolyzer component models is available. more
Three papers related to HYDROGEMS were presented at the World Hydrogen Energy Congress (WHEC 2002) in Montreal, June 2002. These papers are now available for download. more
